[Full disclosure: I serve on the board and am part of the core planning group for the Rocky Butte Farmers Market.]

I’m pretty chuffed to share the news that the Rocky Butte Farmers Market is returning later this year! As mentioned above, I’m part of the core planning group/steering committee for this market, which serves the east Portland neighborhoods of Sumner, Roseway, and Madison South; I’m lending my talents and skills with writing and editing content. In fact, I wrote the latest blog post announcing the market’s return.

Basic info preview: we’ll have five monthly markets from June to October, happening the first Saturday of each month. They will take place in the expansive parking lot at Mannahouse Church (formerly City Bible Church), a “non-denominational Christian church” on the Rocky Butte itself. You may have seen their building, sort of space-age-era looking concrete domes.

Confirmed market dates are:  June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, and October 3.

Head on over to Rocky Butte Farmers Market’s Market News section for more info, and I look forward to seeing you at the market later this year!
