Get To Know SuperChill, a Kid-Powered Ice Cream Bike in Portland

While I was doing some research last month, I came across something called “SuperChill Ice Cream,” and I was immediately intrigued. I found them on Instagram and went to their website, and learned that SuperChill is an ice cream bike business founded in 2022. It is run by two youngsters, William and Daniel (and their parents).

I knew I wanted to learn more about this kidpreneur business, so I reached out via email and we set up a time to meet. Here is what I learned about SuperChill.

Black Cat Frozen Custard Will Open in Downtown Portland

Last September I caught wind of Black Cat Frozen Custard, a new project from Rebecca Vega and Jared Bradley. You may know them as the owners of Raven’s Manor, a “haunted mansion themed cocktail lounge.” Black Cat Frozen Custard will offer frozen treats in creative space in a historic building—and more. I reached out to Rebecca with some questions and here is what she told me.

Earlier this month I saw someone post on Facebook about a new food cart called Devilishly Delicious Delights. I didn’t know what to think at first, but I saw the words,”chimney cake,” holy business, I was totally stoked! I hadn’t had one in forever—last time was back in 2012 in Long Island City.

Halloween 2024: Food and Drink in Portland

Spooky season is upon us! Halloween 2024 in Portland offers plenty of things to do: decorate your home, trick-or-treat, tour a haunted house, go to a costume party. But for us, we are focused on the spooky food and drink treats for this time of the year. There’s plenty out there to enjoy, too!
