Camellia Patisserie turned 3. And they’ll be celebrating by popping up this Sunday, July 27, from 10am to 1pm at Jet Black Coffee Company. Small Bites: Pinolo Gelato, Nam Tao Huu, No Sabo, and More

Pinolo Gelato celebrates 10 years. These guys make some of the best gelato in Portland. It was started by Sandro Paolini, who is originally from Pisa in Italy. He moved to the PNW a while back, but his path eventually led him back to Pisa to learn how to make gelato from his friends and mentors there, Ilaria and Omar of @ioegelato.

No Sabo Will Take Over the Lilia Comedor Space in South Waterfront

No Sabo, which has been in residence (sometimes called a pop-up) at Kaya Cocktail Bar in NE Portland for the past six months, will leave there at the end of the month. They will take over the Lilia Comedor space for a daytime program there in the South Waterfront neighborhood. Lilia Comedor will no longer operate in this location, and is moving to the existing De Noche space in the North Park Blocks.

I sat down with No Sabo’s owners, Jon and Sabrina, to learn more.
