Spoiler: he is not into the mochi donut (at least the ones at Coco), but liked the raised glazed, which is the standard donut he’s using when possible. Small Bites: Camellia Patisserie, Gebeta, Ciboulette, and More

Camellia Patisserie turned 3. And they’ll be celebrating by popping up this Sunday, July 27, from 10am to 1pm at Jet Black Coffee Company. Slow Haste Coffee Joins Collector Bar Daily in NE Portland

Slow Haste is the latest in a series of Portland coffee shops opening in bars and the like—they’ve been popping up at Collector Bar at The Ocean restaurant pod since last November, and on Saturday, May 31 they’ll be offering coffee and pastries there full time. I reached one of the owners, Troy Arias, to learn more and here is what he shared with me.
