Camellia Patisserie turned 3. And they’ll be celebrating by popping up this Sunday, July 27, from 10am to 1pm at Jet Black Coffee Company. Better Days Cafe Is Open in Portland

Today is the first day of the soft opening of Better Days Cafe, located on SE Division and 35th Place. This is a project from Kim Dam of Portland Cà Phê and Mémoire Cà Phê, a new brunch spot on NE Alberta that recently received a 2024 Eater award for Restaurant Team of the Year; and Melody Rin, who has been a roaster and the very first employee at Portland Cà Phê.

The Lime Stand: Hand-Smashed Lime Tea in Portland

The Lime Stand, which offers hand-smashed lime tea, is open on NE Alberta in the old Kulfi space. There you can enjoy a variety of unique drinks, ones you really can’t find anywhere else in Portland. I reached out to Jimmy and Elaine, owners of The Lime Stand, to learn more about them and their arrival in the Alberta Arts District.

A Trung Nguyên Legend Cafe Looks To Open in Portland

According to paperwork filed with ORSOS, along with Portland city permits filed, it appears that a Trung Nguyên Legend Cafe is planning to open on SE Powell Blvd and SE 84th Avenue. Trung Nguyên is a major name in Vietnamese coffee, and along with their manufacturing and retail efforts, their cafes are some of the most popular in Vietnam. “Trung Nguyen Legend” is the company’s “premium brand in coffee.”
