A Few Updates: Bobacat Teahouse, Pizza, and Greek Food

I wanted to quickly update a few things here on the site that I had written about earlier.

First, we have news on Bobacat Teahouse, which I wrote about last May. I heard from multiple sources about their soft opening this week and was able to confirm that it will be tomorrow, Friday, July 19. Look for their signature boba milk teas, bubble waffles (including a new chocolate flavor), and more. They also have a new Facebook and Instagram account dedicated to this location. 1411 NE Broadway, Portland

Next is pizza. Last Friday I wrote about a new pizza joint opening up in Argay—the same shopping mall as Hummus Vitality (I like their tzatziki) and the much lauded Sandy Hot Wings Cafe. I stopped by the other day and it turns out that the pizza in question is P-Town Pizza, which used to be in a hard to find location, described as “on 34/Killingsworth north of the liquor store.” They do not look to be open just yet. 13882 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland

Finally we have Greek food, and that means Tréla. I have had so many people ask me over the months what’s up with them (including my primary care physician, who reads this site), are they ever opening? I reached out and heard back, and the latest update is that they “are shooting for the end of August to finally open.” Their website also says “coming summer 2024.” I will be chatting with them about what’s next, more specifically. 6000 NE Glisan, Portland
