You may have noticed a lack of content on Bridgetown Bites for the past month. A lot has happened since the last post, and bottom line is that I (Meg) have encountered some health issues that have taken my attention away from the blog. The good news is that my prognosis is excellent; I have a lot to be thankful for.
Surgery is on Monday and then my recovery starts. Part of that will, of course, include food and nutrition, which I’ve already been working on (no sugar, no alcohol, no red meat). And I predict the focus of this blog will shift to some extent—I anticipate writing more about vegetarian, vegan, fresh, local, and seasonal food, since my way of eating has been greatly impacted by this whole thing.
I’ll be back when the time is right. In the meantime, thanks for reading, and stay happy and healthy!
