Many Portlanders are wondering what to do about it all—some are choosing to carry on with their lives as planned, some are planning on heading to downtown to either protest or observe.

Portland Cider Company’s Fourth Annual Community Cider Project Is On in Portland

It’s that time again: Portland Cider Company’s Community Cider program (AKA PDX Apple Recycling) has launched! And they want your apples… and fruit! Fallen and unwanted backyard apples, pears, berries, plums and other fruit—all are welcome. Drop them off Monday through Saturday from 9am to 9pm at Portland Cider Company’s Clackamas Taproom + Cidery (8925 SE Jannsen Rd, Bldg. F). They will then hand-press them into a community cider; 100% of net proceeds of the cider sales will go to support Hunger-Free Oregon. The Rocky Butte Farmers Market will return for a second popup (read about the first one here) this Saturday, August 3 from 10am-2pm at the Dharma Rain Zen Center, 8500 NE Siskiyou Street in Portland.
