The Jim & Patty’s return. It’s true, they posted the news this week on their socials: “BIG NEWS, PORTLAND!!! Jim & Patty’s Coffee is BACK!! (under new ownership).” From what I can tell, Paul Ceserani, owner of Spielman Bagels & Coffee, is the new Jim & Patty’s owner. They opened yesterday, August 14, at their previous location on NE Fremont. 4951 NE Fremont Street, Portland

The other day a colleague mentioned that the Can Can Culinary Cabaret is set to open in Portland. I did a little research and saw that the last article on their Portland plans was back in 2022. Devil’s Dill Has Opened a Second Sandwich Shop in Portland

Devil’s Dill, a sandwich shop that opened originally in Southeast Portland on SE Hawthorne and 17th, has a second location that recently opened in Northeast Portland. Located in a fantastic food nexus in Portland on NE Killingsworth between 16th and 17th Avenues, they offer their excellent sandwiches, sides, and more. I spoke with Chris Serena about the new location, and here is what I learned.

Tickets are on sale now for Circle V Portland 2025, Portland’s premier vegan tasting event. It will take place at Castaway, where you an enjoy all kinds of vegan food, beverages, and products.
