Well, today marks the final day of 2026 Portland Salad Week. It’s been a great week, and we’ve especially enjoyed being introduced to a number of new-to-us salads. Portland Pride Festival and Parade are this weekend. The Pride Waterfront Festival is Saturday, June 18 from noon to 8pm and Sunday, July 19 from 11:30am to 6pm. There’s a $10 suggested donation to enter, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. And there will be food and drink vendors at the Pride Festival—you can see who and what to expect on this map.

It’s back! Dumpling Week 2026 arrives this Sunday, February 15. After Salad Week (natch), Dumpling Week is my favorite food week in Portland (we keep a list of the others over in our Portland Food and Drink Festivals page). This year, over 40 restaurants are participating in Dumpling Week.

The Gabbiano’s expansion. They’ll be expanding next door into the space that held Lil’ Dame, according to the Portland Business Journal. This additional space will operate as “Gabby’s Next Door” where you can get lunch, and as a private event space. Mother’s Day 2025 is almost upon us! From brunch to take-home meal kits to locally-made syrups, here are a variety of food-focused activities for the day this year. And a great way to celebrate mom this year.
This year is their second annual Mother’s Day Brunch. It’s a buffet and costs $76 for adults and $39 for children 12 and under. Look for classic breakfast items, savory treats, desserts, coffee, and assorted teas. They will also be a custom Bloody-Mary bar, Mimosas, and Amaterra’s wines, available for additional purchase.
