Halloween 2025 in Portland is just three and a half weeks away and our fair city is already in the swing of things as far as spooky season food and drink. Here’s our roundup for the year—we will update it throughout the month of October with new things that pop up.
Spooky season is upon us! Halloween 2024 in Portland offers plenty of things to do: decorate your home, trick-or-treat, tour a haunted house, go to a costume party. But for us, we are focused on the spooky food and drink treats for this time of the year. There’s plenty out there to enjoy, too!

Caseus Diem
Through the end of October, Caseus Diem presents the Boo-Brie: President-brand Brie with Divina sour cherry spread for $13.
Pie Spot in Montavilla is closing. The second location of Pie Spot in the Rocket Empire Machine food hall has decided to “throw in the towel” after four years there. Their “lil pie window” will close after Saturday (tomorrow). 6935 NE Glisan Street, Portland
Now in its 10th year, Chocolate for Congo continues to work with Portland-area restaurants and bakeries to raise money to benefit Action Kivu and Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI)—non-profits investing in the women, children and communities of eastern Congo. Theo Chocolate has donated the chocolate, and desserts will be available throughout the month of February in Portland. The Never Again Coalition has organized this fundraiser.

Halloween is almost upon us! And while October 31 is the apex of “spooky season,” it pretty much starts the “sweet season,” with candy for trick-or-treaters, themed baked goods, and pumpkin everywhere. Check out some of the local treats you can claim to make your holiday delicious.
