Thanksgiving 2025—it’ll be here before you know it (November 27). We hope this resource will be of help for those making their dinner and ingredient pre-orders, as well as for those trying to snag a reservation at one of our local restaurants.

Thanksgiving Poultry and Meat Orders

Laurelhurst Market

Laurelhurst Market brings back whole, free-range organic, and heritage turkeys this year for Thanksgiving. Here is the breakdown:

The Meating Place

At this Hillsboro butcher, you’ll find a variety of meats available for pre-order, including fresh Mary’s free-range turkeys, smoked turkey, house-cured hams, prime rib, beef tenderloin, and crab cakes. Twice-baked potatoes, too.

Their Thanksgiving ordering starts Friday, October 25, but here’s the preview flyer they’ve put together. There’s turkey, ham, and some beef items. Plus turkey dinners all put together, soups, side dishes, and desserts.

They’ve got seven pies and a cheescake this year: Pumpkin, pecan, apple, tart cherry, blackberry raspberry, chocolate chess and key lime; plus, a pumpkin cheesecake. Pies are $47, cheesecake is $45.

This gluten-free bakery is offering pies (including vegan versions), take-and-bake pie shells, take-and-bake cinnamon rolls, bread rolls and stuffing mix.

You can pre-order these items on their website. You can order through Monday, November 17, and pick up is Monday November 17 to Wednesday, November 26. Note: They’ll be closed November 27 and 28 (Thanksgiving and the Friday afterward).

Orange & Blossom

This modern plant-based patisserie has some baked things to pre-order for Thanksgiving: pies (Chocolate Bourbon Pecan, Miso Pumpkin, Apple Quince), Pumpkin Maple Caramel Cake, brioche dinner rolls, roasted cranberry sauce with Chinese five spice, a savory roasted leek galette, and focaccia.

Start your pre-orders here. Pick-up is on Wednesday, November 26 from 10am to 1pm. They’ll also be open from 9am to 1pm that day with an assortment of their regular Fall offerings, as well as some special holiday treats.

Pine State Biscuits

Pre-orders are open for Thanksgiving at Pine State Biscuits. This year they are offering Sweet Potato, Orange Chess, Bourbon Caramel Apple, and chicken pot pie. Also available in Portland for a limited time is their Holiday Chanterelle Gravy; 10% of sales from the gravy will be donated to The Pixie Project.

Also: They are offering The Gobfather at their Portland locations: “House-made herbed stuffing biscuit topped with turkey, turkey gravy, stoneground mustard, and Mama Stamberg’s cranberry relish.” Available for two weeks from the original posting, which is Tuesday, November 25.

Riley Seasonal Cakes

I first ran into Erin Sosnowchik’s work at Score: A Baker Fair last summer. Her cakes were incredible, and one of my favorites of the fair. So you can imagine how happy I was to see she is offering a Thanksgiving Cake:

“This is a 9” single layer of pumpkin tahini cake made with organic spelt and Sonora soft white wheat flours from Camas Country Mill. The cake is then soaked with an espresso syrup and topped with a ton of mascarpone whipped cream and candied sesame seeds! not my usual style but I hope this format seems more approachable to share with all of your loved ones this holiday season. “

Screen Door

They are offering pies for the Thanksgiving holiday:

They are baked in a full-sized 9” glass pie pan with a refundable deposit when you return the pie pans to their Eastside or Pearl District locations.

Shop Halo Halo is offering a variety of items—mostly sweet, but some are not. Those would be Tocino Cheddar Biscuits, Corned Beef Pandesal, and plain pandesal. Sweets range from ube pie to buko pie to sans rival—check out the full line of offerings on the Shop Halo Halo website.

Place your pre-orders by 9pm on Friday, November 21. Things may sell out quickly, so it’s wise to put your order in sooner than later.

Pick-up is on Wednesday, November 26 between noon and 5pm at Tambayan Restaurant in Southeast Portland.

Thanksgiving Meal Kits/Takeout

Bergerac

They’ll be offering three-course dinners (with add-on options). $65 per person. 

“Our menu is packed ready to pop into your fridge then straight into the oven on Thanksgiving.” Instructions on rewarming and plating are included. Here is the menu: 

  • Blue cheese cream, poached pears, mixed greens & toasted hazelnuts (GF).
  • Chicken ballotine stuffed with apples, wild mushroom chicken jus, potato gratin, green beans with almonds, cranberry sauce (GF).
  • Bourbon Pumpkin pie or Pumpkin spice creme brûlée (GF).

Add-ons available:

  • Whole Bourbon Pumpkin Pie ($32).

You can choose small and large family packs, small and large smoked turkey breast, brisket, ribs, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce. Pick-up is Thursday, November 27 between 11am and 4pm. Also, “All regular menu items are available, except Bar Menu items (burgers and fries).”

They’ll be offering their Thanksgiving spread for takeout so you can enjoy the holiday without doing the cooking yourself. It’s $135 per person. As I write this, only 10am is left for a pick-up time.

Their Takeaway Thanksgiving Dinner includes the dinner and dessert portion of what they are serving at the restaurant on Thanksgiving. It serves two and costs $120. It includes:

  • Dinner: Turkey breast, braised legs, potato puree, roasted and honey-glazed vegetables, traditional gravy, leek & mushroom stuffing, and cranberry sauce.
  • Dessert: Apple crostata with caramel sauce and vanilla bean gelato from Pronto Gelato.

This North Portland barbecue joint is offering pre-order for brisket and potatoes for Thanksgiving. $150 and $85, respectively. 

Thanksgiving Whole Brisket Pre-Order (5-7lb): Whole Texas style Brisket, salt and pepper smoked 12 to 16 hours with Oregon white oak on an offset smoker. Includes BBQ sauce, pickles, and slicing instructions.

Hello again, “Turkey Package.” It serves 8 to 10 people and costs $229.95 (an increase of just $10 since last year). 

You can also order a whole roasted turkey alone for $150, sliced turkey or ham for $19.95/pound or $1.75/oz, and a turkey drumstick for $12.95. You can also order the sides listed below as a la carte. More on their Thanksgiving options—where you can also place your order, plus a price sheet, if that’s easier.

The Turkey Package: 

  • 1 12-14 lb. whole roasted turkey (whole bird).
  • 2 quarts sage dressing.
  • 2 quarts mashed potatoes.

Their Thanksgiving takeaway boxes include a protein, 4 sides, and a dessert—you just need to heat it up at home. Pre-orders start on Tuesday, November 11 at 11am, and they are also offering sliding scale pricing for boxes for purchase if you need it.

They will also do five boxes to give away for free, and will do up to 20 free boxes with community support. You can sponsor a family of 6 with a $50 donation today—here is the donation link. Donations are tax deductible under their pending 501c3 status.

Pick up will be from 1pm to 2pm on Thanksgiving at The End.

Screen Door

Screen Door is offering Thanksgiving dinner heat & serve boxes. It serves 4 to 6 persons and cost $280 per box, with a 10% service charge added to support the Screen Door team members working on the holiday.

Each dinner box features roasted turkey breast and leg, turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, and traditional stuffing, cranberry chutney, soft dinner rolls, and maple-glazed carrots with toasted hazelnuts. There are also optional add-ons of green bean casserole, mac ‘n’ cheese, and sweet potato casserole. Heat and serve instructions are included. They’ll be offering an entirely gluten-free and vegan Thanksgiving meal for pick-up. It costs $45 for one person, $80 for two. A portion of sales will be donated to the Northeast Emergency Food Program. The meal includes:

Urban Farmer is offering a “a beautifully crafted, Pacific Northwest-inspired twist on the holiday classic” for you to bring home for the holiday. Pricing is $350 per order and the meal serves four adults. Dinner Includes:

Bellpine—Brunch

Head here for Thanksgiving for a brunch buffet that features “the bounty of the Pacific Northwest.” $195 for adults,  $75 for children, plus an automatic 20% gratuity for all party sizes. They’ll also charge a $50 deposit per person (required). And, you have a two-hour limit on your time there.

While you’re enjoying your brunch, they will have a live jazz trio playing. Make your reservation (starts at 11am and last reservation is 1:30pm, at the writing of this article) via their OpenTable page.

They are offering a family-style Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, November 27. Everything looks to be priced a la carte, and you can see the menu here (and here’s a separate image). Here are some of the highlights:

For Thanksgiving they’ll have a prix fixe 3-course Thanksgiving menu with all the trimmings. $68 per person, $30 for children.

Sandy Jug Tavern

This is a little different from the other listings—the Jug will be open for your post-Thanksgiving dinner festivities: “The Jug will be opening at 6pm on Thanksgiving. Screen Door

Stop and enjoy Thanksgiving at Screen Door in the Pearl from 9am to 4pm. They’ll serve their regular menu along with a Classic Turkey Dinner Special: roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, Brussels sprouts, cranberry chutney, soft dinner rolls, and stuffing. Tavern at The Heathman

They’ll be preparing a classic family style feast this Thanksgiving. $65 per person, $25 for kids 12 and under. A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties.

Their menu includes “specially handcrafted holiday cocktails, appetizers, all your favorite thanksgiving sides, mouthwatering turkey, and straight-out-the-oven pumpkin pie and apple crisp.” Get a Holiday Cocktail add-on for an additional cost.

Q Restaurant and Bar

They’ll be preparing a four-course prix fixe menu for Thanksgiving dinner. $95/person. Here’s the menu:

  • To Start: Deviled Egg: crispy bacon, shoestring potatoes, chives; OR Fried Brussels Sprouts: fresh apples, scallions, miso, sesame seeds.
  • Second: Kiyokawa orchard apple & pear salad: autumn greens, honey pepper vinaigrette, peppered chevre, candied hazelnuts; OR Creamy butternut squash soup.
  • Entrée: Grilled prime NY strip steak*: potato, butternut squash, caramelized onions & comté gratin, autumn greens, red wine reduction sauce; OR Confit of turkey leg & herb roasted breast, garlic mashed potato, sauteed green beans, pomegranate molasses, fresh pomegranate; OR Pumpkin Risotto: caramelized root veggies, crispy parmigiano reggiano, crispy sage, pepitas, aged balsamic.

They are offering a 3-course prix fixe meal with a Greek twist for $45 per person. Here is what to expect:

  • First course: Avgolemano Soup, a classic Greek egg-lemon broth, with chicken and orzo.
  • Second course: Turkey Dinner, roasted turkey with mashed potatoes, petite rainbow carrots, and stuffing with loukaniko sausage and dried fruits.
  • Third course: Pumpkin Pie, a classic spiced pumpkin custard in flaky crust.

Waters Bar & Grille

Waters Bar & Grille will be open on Thanksgiving Day and are offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $49, along with an optional wine pairing for $29. This is one of the more affordable dinners on our list.

  • First course: Choice of wild mushroom bisque or Holiday Greens with sundried cranberries, toasted hazelnuts, and raspberry vinaigrette.
  • Second course: Traditional Roasted Turkey Plate with sourdough stuffing, Yukon Gold mashed potato with sage gravy, and buttered Blue Lake green beans.
  • Third course: Pumpkin pie with fresh Chantilly cream.
  • BONUS: You can also get their turkey plate alone for $39, and a kids plate for $19, which includes a turkey plate and small dessert.

The wine pairings feature a mix of local and European wines. Plus, they have cocktails for the holiday, made with their partner, Portland Syrups:

  • Cranberry Sauced: Gin-based spritzer that resembles cranberry sauce.
  • Pumpkin Spice Up Your Life: Pumpkin spice espresso martini.

From 8am-1pm they’ll be serving free Thanksgiving sandwiches to those who need it, and providing a place to hang out and chill. Aside from those sandos, only the drink menu will be available.

Fast Times

No special menu aside from what they normally offer: Two-thirds plant-based menu, NY-style slices & whole pies, house-made vegan dressings, plant-based soft serve, gluten-free options, cane sugar RC Cola + Squirt on tap. They’ll be open 11am to 2am, and the Gnome Garden Patio will be open, too.

  1. It would be great to do a survey of pies! With Pie Spot closed now, there aren’t a lot of places you can pre-order.
