It’s been a long time coming, but on this Saturday, March 12 you’ll have the chance to spend time indoor at Bee’s Cakes—and Cafe! Rebecca has done a number of pop-ups over the past several months, but it’s always been walk-up/take-away. This time, though, you can get a treat, a drink, and a seat.
This Saturday’s pop-up features, among other things, Bee’s Girl Scouts-inspired baked goods. If you pre-order by Thursday, March 10, you can pick up these taste treats on Saturday while they are open. Thin Mint Brownies and Samoa Cakes sure sound good (her cakes are spectacular).
The cafe’s hours will be 9am to 3pm on Saturday, “testing the waters of being open,” so it’s just for the one day at this point (full opening will come later). I am so curious to see what Rebecca and her staff have done to make the cafe space their own. Along with the baked goods (not just Girl Scouts-inspired but other things like a variety of pastries, cookies, cupcakes, and cake slices) you’ll be able to get an espresso drink or a chai.

The staff does ask that you wear a mask when ordering and walking around; you can take them off while you are seated and eating/drinking.
Big congrats to Rebecca and her staff for getting this far. I know it’s been hard during the pandemic for restaurants, cafes, and bakeries as far as hospitality goes. Saturday should be a good time—stop by and support this great local woman-owned business!
