The My-O-My Arrives on NE Sandy Blvd This Summer

Yesterday I published a speculative post about the old Rocky Butte Pub space on NE Sandy near 86th Ave. Fortunately, a reader tipped me off to what is actually going in there: the new place will be called the My-O-My ,”Your Favorite Bar East of 82nd.” The folks from the White Owl Social Club are behind it.

I’m particularly intrigued by their potential patio, this fireplace, and all the booths they are constructing. And what are those games they mention? Corn hole? Video lottery? Trivia? Pinball?

If the place is anything like the White Owl Social club, the drinks will be high-quality and strong. I am hoping for some dry cocktails on the menu. And tasty food, too. Would love their patio to be dog-friendly, as there are lots of dogs living in the Sumner neighborhood. The location is terrific because it is convenient to the two halves of the Sumner square and the Sumner triangle, too.

They hope to open this summer. I have reached out to the folks behind My-O-My (at least those behind the Instagram account) to learn more and will pass on any details I learn to you, probably in this post.

    1. I have contacted the owners multiple times and have received nada. My guess would be perhaps late December for NYE; or early in 2023. I’m bummed they are not responding to my messages but that’s the way it goes sometimes. If I learn anything I will definitely pass it on.
