A Bridgetown Bites tipster messaged me with the news that new pizzeria is coming to the Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood: The Dullahan Pizza Pub. They’ll be taking over the space that was home to Gladstone Street Pizza & Saint Pizza Lounge.
The Predecessor, Gladstone Street Pizza
It looks like Gladstone Street Pizza shuttered in April. ShanRock’s Triviology posted on Facebook on April 18, “The owners have decided to sell the business to pursue other career paths.” They also speak of new owners, The Super Reese Bros., who got the keys to the building on May 17. They’ve been working on things ever since.
Eater indicates that Gladstone Street Pizza was in business for over 20 years, though ORSOS records only go back to 2011 for that. In 2012 The Oregonian proclaimed them a favorite neighborhood pizzeria. Read more about Gladstone in their Wikipedia article.
The Dullahan Pizza Pub is run by the same people that are behind The Dullahan Irish Restaurant & Pub in Lake Oswego.
What To Expect at The Dullahan Pizza Pub
Their website is pretty fleshed out, which is nice to see. In their About section they say they will offer pizza, pasta, and salads, and are “excited to bring a fresh and unique dining experience to the community.” They also mention that you’ll be able to design your own pizza.

The menu itself is split into three sections: pizza, sandwiches, and “salads, starters & shareables.” Justyn Reese (member of The Super Reese Bros.) describes the pizza as “New York style thin crust pies,” He adds, “We’re leaning heavy into great ingredients and fun creativity. I used to work down the road at Ship Ahoy for over a decade before I started The Dullahan Irish Pub with my wife and my brother. We’ve expanded to other ideas including a sports bar in Aloha and now the pizza pub in SE.”
One pizza that looks like it made its way over from Gladstone’s menu is the “Tri Colour”: red sauce, Mozzarella, Mama Lil’s Peppers, chèvre, and fresh basil. Dullahan’s menu does not seem to include vegan pies, as Gladstone’s did.
The sandwiches look very tasty, especially the South East Italian: Pepperoni, Capicola, Salami, banana peppers, roasted red peppers, Mozzarella, arugula, tomato, onion, fresh basil, and Balsamic redux. On the salads, etc. list, I’m intrigued by the Mushroom Ceviche: local Fungi, jalapeño, onion and cucumber marinated in citrus with focaccia crostini. They also offer something called “Freshy-Fresh”: a minced cilantro, basil, banana pepper salad that goes with focaccia.
Opening Soon? Yes!
I asked Justyn when they plan to open, and he says that they hope to within the next two weeks. They may do a pop-up with takeout pies as early as Thursday or Friday of this week.

Best of luck to the Justyn and his team as they get the place ready to open.
