
Welcome to our Thanksgiving 2024 in Portland list! In it, you’ll find options for poultry and meat orders, desserts, meal kits/takeout, and dine-in.
This year, Thanksgiving is relatively late: Thursday, November 28. We thought we’d put out this resource list early to help you get a jump on the holiday, with hopes that it gives you enough time for relaxed preparations. New options will undoubtedly pop up between now and Thanksgiving, and we will update this article with those details when we come across them.

Their butcher shop has Mary’s free-range and heritage turkeys, turkey parts, gravy, and stock for your Thanksgiving meal. They’ve got a turkey breast roulade for you, too. For something a little different, you can also pick up their housemade sausages, game birds, foie gras mousse, and brine kits.
Heat-and-serve sides are also available to order, serving 4 to 6 people: mashed potatoes**, stuffing**, roasted vegetables**, and cranberry relish. More details.

It’s all about turkey at Zupan’s: bone-in breast, boneless turkey breast, and whole turkey are available. They are also offering a turkey dinner for four: Shelton’s fully cooked turkey, artisan sage stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, and cranberry orange sauce. This great Italian bakery in the Lents neighborhood is offering some unconventional, but no doubt delicious, options for your Thanksgiving table: chestnut rum cake, pear & almond frangipane crostata, pumpkin ricotta cheesecake, pannettone, rainbow cookies, cibatta rolls, and brioche rolls. Mikiko Mochi Donuts
This popular mochi donut shop is offering two desserts for Thanksgiving. More details.
- Giant Mochi Donut Cake weighs 4 pounds, is enshrouded in glaze and filled with their house fillings, including passionfruit, horchata, ube, chai, vanilla, or chocolate. Gluten-free. $49.
- Stuffin Muffins are made with mochi donut dough and cooked-down aromatics and herbs, formed into single serve muffin portions, and topped with cranberry sauce. Sold in pairs. $7.50 for two.

You’ll find vegan options here for pre-order. A few desserts—miso pumpkin pie, apple quince pie, pumpkin maple cake. As well as sides—truffle mushroom & green bean galette, Hawaiian brioche dinner rolls, roasted cranberry sauce with five-spice. Plus vanilla bean coconut whipped cream, and focaccia. More details.
Pre-orders close on Wednesday, November 20 at noon. Pick-up on Wednesday November 27 from 10am to 2pm. They will be open normal hours that Wednesday from 8:30am to 3pm for some first-come first-serve Thanksgiving items. The shop will be closed on Thanksgiving, opening back up on Wednesday, December 4.

Pine State Biscuits
Pine State is offering a variety of pies and desserts for pre-order: orange buttermilk chess, chocolate cream pie, apple cobble, pecan bars, and chicken pot pie. They are also offering chanterelle gravy. “Chanterelle’s were hand-picked by our friend Sunny, for the 4th year in a row & pies are made with love by our amazing pastry team!” More details and order page.

Sure it’s a chain now, but it’s still a gem and each year they put out real novelty ice cream flavors. Here’s the batch for Thanksgiving 2024:

Booking for Thanksgiving is open at this cottage bakery in SE Portland. Available pies include bourbon pecan pie, apple pandowdy, pumpkin honey pie, cranberry orange cream pie, buttermilk chess pie, and chocolate caramel chess pie. Parker house rolls will be available Thanksgiving week, as well. More details.
Pies can be made in two sizes: 6″ (about 4 to 5 slices); and 9″ (8 to 10 slices).

Elephants Delicatessen
There is a wide range of options from Elephants Deli for pre-order: a dinner for six ($240), individual dinners ($28), a la carte items and dessert (priced individually). More details.
Pick-up and delivery are available on Tuesday, November 26 and Wednesday, November 27 from 10am to 6pm. Pick-up locations include SE Central Kitchen, NW 22nd, Cedar Hills, Lake Oswego, and Corbett. There will be an automatic 16% service charge for all deliveries and a 5% service charge for all pick-ups.

Heathman Tavern
Heathman Tavern is offering a classic family-style feast this Thanksgiving. Enjoy traditional dishes in a cozy, elegant atmosphere. The menu is $85 per person, $25 for kids 12 and under. A 20% gratuity added to parties of five or more.
This is what they are serving: “Specially handcrafted holiday cocktails, appetizers, all your favorite Thanksgiving sides, mouthwatering turkey, and straight-out-the-oven pumpkin pie and apple crisp.”
For child reservations, please include them as an add-on after the number of adults. Holiday cocktail add-ons for an additional cost.

Lovely Rita, the restaurant inside the lobby of The Hoxton hotel downtown, is serving a feast created by Chef U’i. The meal will be served family-style, with a dessert bar at the end. Portland Spirit Cruise
