It was a beautiful day at Friday’s Grand Tasting.

As you probably know by now, I only attended a couple of Feast events this year, while I was volunteering. Frankly, it was probably for the best because my work as a writer and editor elsewhere last week was nuts and would not allow for too much time off. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do, but it was an intense and busy time. I liked that the eggs had runny yolks and were not overcooked. The avocado tasted fresh with no off flavors. Overall a really satisfying breakfast. Radio Room, 1101 NE Alberta Street, Portland

It’s been a long, busy week but I don’t want to close it out without writing about two unfortunate litigious situations here in the greater Portland area having to do with Killer Burger + Rock and Roll Chili Pit, and Patsy’s New York Pizzeria.
