Portland Cider Company’s Fourth Annual Community Cider Project Is On in Portland
Apples for cider
It’s that time again: Portland Cider Company’s Community Cider program (AKA PDX Apple Recycling) has launched! And they want your apples… and fruit! Fallen and unwanted backyard apples, pears, berries, plums and other fruit—all are welcome. Drop them off Monday through Saturday from 9am to 9pm at Portland Cider Company’s Clackamas Taproom + Cidery (8925 SE Jannsen Rd, Bldg. F). They will then hand-press them into a community cider; 100% of net proceeds of the cider sales will go to support Hunger-Free Oregon.
