As I’ve mentioned before, the Rocky Butte Farmers Market is returning this June, this time atop the actual Rocky Butte by Mannahouse Church. In anticipation of the Market, there’s been lots of strategy and planning, and one thing that has come out of the planning process is a fundraiser to support the Rocky Butte Farmers Market at Arrowood Restaurant on the evening of Monday, May 17.
The Event Details
“Join us as we dine with our community partner Arrowood to raise funds to grow our farmers market! Arrowood is generously donating 25% of the evenings proceeds to the Rocky Butte Farmers Market! Happy hour runs from 4-6 and the dinner menu goes 4-9pm.”
Good Food at Arrowood
I’ve had some really delicious food at Arrowood in the past—check out their menus, as the food there changes through the seasons, though there are some things that remain throughout the year. And I have to point out that I’ve had some of the best beets in my life there and I expect that will be part of my order that evening.
I hope you can make it to this event on May 17 (here’s a Facebook event page for it). This farmers market is important and will be a wonderful addition to the communities of Roseway, Madison South, and Sumner. And this fundraiser will make bringing the market to these underserved communities all the easier. See you then!
