Spring Sips and the Pink! Rosé Festival Start This May in the Tualatin Valley

For six weeks during May and June, you’ll have a chance to get to know 40+ wineries and the wines they make in the Tualatin Valley, during the annual Spring Sips celebration. And it all coincides with Oregon Wine Month (May) and the Pink! Rosé Festival on May 17.

Spring Sips: Washington County in the Tualatin Valley

Now in its third year, Spring Sips aims to promote wine and its makers in the Tualatin Valley—which is almost entirely in Washington County (though there’s also a little bit of Clackamas County in the Valley). Sure, the wineries in Yamhill County get a lot of attention when it comes to their identity in the Willamette wine country, but there’s plenty going on in the Tualatin Valley as far as wine (and beer) goes.

Here are some maps of the area for visual reference (because they are good visual aids and I love maps). Left to right, there’s a graphic of the Tualatin Valley, a map of Washington County, and a topo map of the Tualatin Valley. Click to enlarge.

The Closest Wine Destination to Portland

Explore Tualatin Valley states the Tualatin Valley is “the closest wine destination to Portland.” And Spring Sips invites everyone—locals and (Portland) tourists alike—to spend time in the region to get to know the wineries and their products.

And they’ve got a passport for the six-week event.

Spring Sips Mobile Passport

The Spring Sips mobile digital passport is back and it’s free—plus, like with Tap Season, you do not have to download an app, as you access the passport via your browser. It “serves as a guide to all things wine in Tualatin Valley.”

In it, you’ll find over 30 wineries, wine bars, and tasting rooms to explore, as well as info on wine-related events taking place throughout Spring Sips. Some places will offer exclusive discounts and special experiences during the length of Spring Sips. And each check-in increases your number of entries toward the Spring Sips grand prize giveaway. Details on that to come.

The passport launches at the Pink! Rosé Festival, and will be available to everyone on Monday, May 18 through Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

This is the signature event of Spring Sips, which also takes place at the Hillsboro Ballpark on Sunday, May 17—and the new ballpark just recently had its opening day, too. It’s a three hour event, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. It’s all about rosé wines, of course, but white wines will also be present.

They also want this event to be appealing to the “rosé curious.” 28 of Tualatin Valley’s finest wineries will be present with tastes—or, you might say, “sips”—of their spring releases.

Ticket Info

The Early Bird phase goes until Sunday, May 3, so General Admission tickets are $60.54 (includes $5.54 Fee). You get six tasting tokens, a commemorative GoVino tasting glass, and a complimentary cheese + charcuterie cone (a vegetarian cup option is available). Regular priced General Admisstion tickets will increase to $65.87 (includes $5.87 Fee) when Early Bird pricing ends.

VIP Early Bird tickets are sold out at the writing of this article.

But there are regular VIP tickets available for $97.88 (includes $7.88 Fee). You get to enter the event a half hour earlier, at noon. You also get eight tasting tokens, a commemorative GoVino tasting glass, and a complimentary cheese + charcuterie cone (a vegetarian cup option is available), PLUS entry to the VIP Bubble Room with sparkling wine + oysters by WildFin, and a VIP gift from Stache Chocolate. I encountered the Stache Chocolate guys at the Wasabi Fest last year (it’s returning in 2026!) and they make really beautiful chocolate bars and products.

Designated Driver tickets are $12.51 (includes $2.51 Fee). These tickets do not include access to alcohol, naturally.

Comida Kin will also be on site offering food for purchase. There will be a variety of options including vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.

You can also buy additional tasting tokens. It’s a casual affair, and there will be a guest DJ and food vendors. This is a 21+ event.

Tickets are on sale now. You can buy your tickets on the Pink! Rosé Festival Eventbrite page.

Like Tap Season did for beer, this is a fun way to get to know wines, wineries, wine bars, and tasting rooms throughout the Tualatin Valley. Plus the Pink! Rosé Festival is spring and summer in a glass. I hope you feel inspired to to participate in Spring Sips this year!
