World Vegan Month 2026 Has Started in Portland

We are now at the start of World Vegan Month 2026, and here in the Portland metro that means a month focused on vegan and plant-based dining specials. Veganizer, once again, is presenting this dining month, which started Sunday, November 1 (yesterday) and goes until Monday, November 30. Here’s what you need to know to enjoy.

This year there are 35 participating businesses—restaurants, bakeries, food carts, and pop-ups. The vegan specials last all month long. Plus, you can collect stamps to complete a card for a chance to win some gift cards.

World Vegan Month 2026: Causes Chosen

During World Vegan Month, each restaurant chooses a cause they want to donate to, as the month is designed for there to be a charitable aspect to it. These causes include humanitarian, cultural, environmental, animal, equity, and justice organizations. Here are many of the organizations that will receive donations after this month is over:

Eat and Win Prizes

Prizes = gift cards, and there is a potential total of four winners:

Grand Prize (1): This winner will receive a $25 gift card to every participating business.
Runners Up (3): These winners will each receive a $50 gift card to a participating business of their choice.

Winners will be drawn and announced over Instagram Live in December 2026 and contacted by email.

How it Works

So how do you get the chance to win? Stamp cards, which you can pick up at any participating World Vegan Month business.

Keep your stamp card with you and get it stamped each time you eat or imbibe at any of the participating locations. There is room for eight stamps per card—but don’t let that limit you! You can complete multiple stamp cards, which equals more entries.

For every special purchased, you get one stamp. Note: If a location has sold out of their special for the day, a purchase of equal value qualifies for a stamp.
