Taco Pedaler To Open Second Location in Portland

Sausage Breakfast Taco

Taco Pedaler’s breakfast tacos, one of our favorite eats from 2017.

I first saw the news on Instagram—Taco Pedaler, home of my favorite tacos in Portland, is opening a second location! It will be in the old Pollo Norte space on 42nd Ave near Killingsworth.  From their post:

”Taco Pedaler is opening up in the Cully Neighborhood—NE 42nd near Killingsworth! We are so excited as this is our hood! A hood we love and one that we are ecstatic to join the Cully Community now not only where we reside but where we eat Tacos!!! Drink beers! Drink marGAYritas! A new hangout spot in NE!”

They are thrilled to be working alongside local greats like Red Sauce Pizza, Old Salt Marketplace and The Side Yard Farm. This news comes on the heels of the story reported by the Star News about the Jane Dough Building at 4636 NE 42nd Avenue, just four blocks south. Most recently home to Delphina’s Bakery, this location will become home to a community food and retail space with a 24 hour, 2,400 square foot commissary kitchen run by Stacey Givens of the Side Yard Farm; an artisanal bakery from Dillon DeBauche, known for her work at Little T American Baker; and Maya Lovelace’s new restaurant based on her current project, Mae; additional tenants are also in the plans.

I believe the folks behind Taco Pedaler have made an excellent choice to move into this space, and will fit in well in the area. It’s great that this location is easy to get via transit (75 and 72 bus lines), too. They have a nice area for outdoor seating, plus the area next door to its north has been home to a few food carts (not sure if that will continue to be the case).

Best wishes, Taco Pedaler! I can’t wait to check you out when you’re open for business!
