Easter 2026 is Sunday, April 5—a couple of weeks earlier this year compared to last year. And this year, western and Orthodox Easter do not fall on the same day (they are a week apart, with Orthodox Easter arriving on the 12th of April). There are plenty of tasty ways to enjoy Easter Sunday in Portland: from chocolate bunnies to hot cross buns, brunch buffets to a takeaway French Toast kit, and more.
Here’s where you can find delicious things for Easter 2026 in Portland.

Pix Patisserie
Surprise Eggs are the main event at Pix Patisserie for Easter, and this year they’ve changed them up a bit. More from Pix:
“While our classic Surprise Eggs (a version of the iconic Kinder Egg) hide toy surprises inside, our new limited-edition designer eggs will also reveal a different surprise chocolate pattern on the outside of each egg. Unwrap the colorful foil to reveal the edible art. Then crack it open to discover an adorable, collectable, hand-painted charm that is fun for all ages.”
You can get nine for $65—packed in a basket, each with a different artistic design on the outside, with a collectable charm hidden inside. Or choose a carton of six of the classic Surprise Eggs (dual layered Valrhona white and dark chocolate eggs) for $36. Individually, they are priced at $6.50.
While not technically an Easter treat, Poisson d’Avril are also available at Pix and it’s fun to talk about them. The phrase translates to “April Fish,” and they are a tradition in France, found in chocolate shops throughout the country for April Fool’s Day—this year, that’s the Wednesday before Easter. Here’s the story:
“Young children slap paper fish onto unsuspecting adult’s backs, crying ‘Poisson d’Avril!’ as they run away. Our dark chocolate version comes in tins of two and is best in your mouth, not on your back. But we’ll toss in the paper version, too!” They are $15 per tin.
Available for pick-up starting Wednesday, March 25. Order online or call them at 971-271-7166.

The folks at Woodblock Chocolate are offering a handful of Easter treats, but it’s the Bunny Tails that I’ve never encountered before. Each bag has about 40 of them, and it costs $10/bag.
Additionally, they have a bag of mini chocolate bunnies (70% dark chocolate house blend or 45% Swiss style milk chocolate); sweet solid chocolate bunnies (70% dark chocolate bunny made with Double Origin house chocolate, a sweet 45% milk chocolate, or their Milk Chocolate Crunch Berry); and chocolate bunny pops (70% dark chocolate house blend or 45% Swiss style milk chocolate).
